Dr. Sara Riley

Originally from Oklahoma City, Dr. Riley was raised in a family of Emergency Medicine doctors, so when she was younger, she knew she would pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Riley graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2001 with a bachelor’s in psychology. After meeting her husband Mark, who lived in Cypress, she moved to the area in 2001. She worked as a mental health professional in a psychiatric setting with children, but desired to further her education.  During her educational coursework she met a Chiropractor and found the entire concept very intriguing and decided to pursue chiropractic. She graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2006, with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

During her 14+ years in practice, Dr. Riley has obtained numerous certifications in various healing techniques such as Activator methods, Acupuncture, Graston technique, Active Release Technique, and Webster technique. Dr Riley specializes in care for expecting mothers, babies and families. She receives referrals from ENTs, lactation specialist, OBGYNs, and pediatricians from the surrounding areas. She continually pursues additional classes in these specialties such as Advanced Perinatal clinical application (ICPA), Connecting with parents, the baby, and supportive care providers (ICPA), CS1: CranioSacral Therapy 1: Assessment of central nervous system and fascia for full body treatment protocol (Upledger Institute). These additional certifications help her to treat each patient with an individual approach. Dr. Riley loves that she can heal people with her hands, and her background in psychology gives her an ability to understand and care for her patients in a unique way.

When Dr. Riley is not treating patients, she is spending time with her husband Mark, and their two fabulous kids, Luke and Molly. You can find them riding bikes, throwing footballs or baseballs, playing ping pong and board games, and making adventures out of ordinary days. There is a 90% chance that she has a tent pitched in her backyard right now!
